Houston's 'drip' originator, praised by Pimpin' Ken on podcasts; no track with Ken or titled 'Pimp Hop' could be found.

Sauce Walka, born Albert Walker Mondane in Houston in 1990, is the founder of The Sauce Factory (TSF) and the rapper most often credited with putting the word "drip" into hip-hop's vocabulary. He began recording in 2007 as A-Walk with the group Mostheard and adopted the Sauce Walka name around 2014, when he and Sancho Saucy released In Sauce We Trust as the Sauce Twinz. Reviewing that mixtape for the Houston Press in December 2014, Brandon Caldwell described a style built on "stacking bars and slick talk," closer to Dolemite than to KRS-One, with "pimp lingo" woven through the street vernacular. He founded TSF as an independent label the same year; signees have included 5th Ward JP, Peso Peso, Rizzoo Rizzoo and Sancho Saucy. In 2015 his diss record "Wack 2 Wack" accused Drake of appropriating Houston's sound.

The pimp connection the archive was asked to check runs through Pimpin' Ken, the Milwaukee-raised pimp and author of Pimpology whom Salon profiled at the Players Ball in 2000. What exists is podcast commentary, not a song. On the It's Up There Podcast with Looney, episode 234, published September 3, 2024, Ken discussed what he called Sauce Walka's "P status," praising him as an operator who had, in Ken's telling, earned millions from a woman's foot content online without her doing anything more. In a separate clip on the B High ATL channel he called Walka "the coldest" for the same reason, and in a Boss Talk podcast segment he compared him to Pimp C. Sauce Walka has himself given interviews on "new age pimpin'" and, in one widely circulated clip, on pimping at fourteen. These are statements of persona and self-description; no court record, arrest or third-party account describes him pimping.

The specific items the archive was asked to locate could not be found. No Sauce Walka track referencing or featuring Pimpin' Ken appears in any discography, streaming listing or news source consulted. Nothing titled "Pimp Hop" was found attached to Sauce Walka, to Pimpin' Ken, or to an artist called "Primo Rice"; the last name returned no results at all, and the nearest TSF names, Peso Peso and Rizzoo Rizzoo, do not match. It is possible the user is recalling a freestyle, a social-media clip or a podcast exchange rather than a release. The archive records the absence rather than guessing.

What is on the record for Sauce Walka is mostly legal and unrelated to vice. He pleaded guilty in 2009 to deadly conduct after a shooting incident at Texas Southern University. Court filings in 2018 described TSF as a "documented gang," a characterisation he rejected: "I know that I'm a record label, I know that I'm an artist." In December 2023 he was arrested for evading police at speeds above 130 mph, and in 2025 he was wounded in a Memphis shooting in which TSF artist Sayso P was killed. The women in his persona, like the women in Ken's praise of it, are unnamed; the archive notes that the "P status" being celebrated on those podcasts describes a woman's earnings being taken, and that no one has asked her.
