Silky Johnson is a fictional character written and performed by Dave Chappelle for a sketch first broadcast on Comedy Central on 19 March 2003, in the ninth episode of Chappelle's Show's first season. He is catalogued here with a caveat, because he is not a pimp. The sketch stages an annual gathering of "player haters" — men who have built reputations on contempt rather than on acquisition — and Silky Johnson presides over it as its most decorated member, a two-time winner of its invented top honor.

The parody works by inversion. It borrows the apparatus of the pimp convention familiar from late-1990s documentary — the ceremony, the titles, the competitive display, the observational camera register of HBO's America Undercover films — and empties it of the thing being celebrated, leaving only the ritual. Critics have credited the sketch's durability to the specificity of its world-building, which lends an absurd premise the texture of something observed.

For a researcher, Silky Johnson marks the point at which the subculture's screen iconography became stable enough to be satirized from inside, only four years after documentary brought it to a wide audience.
