The book's description opens with "I Think Pimp, Therefore I AM Pimp" and promises readers the thinking of Bishop Don Magic Juan, Pimpin' Ken, Fillmore Slim and Hugh Hefner. It presents pimping as a mindset that builds self-esteem, communication and confidence, so that the reader can "Pimp the Game of Life" instead of being pimped by it.

It is the latest step in a line this archive tracks, from the street memoir to the business manual. Pimp told the life, Pimpology turned it into laws, and this book strips out the street entirely and sells the posture as self-help.
