Pretty Pimpin' Dino

A South Central pimp who became a recurring on-camera figure of the Figueroa corridor through Soft White Underbelly and street-interview channels.

Dino, who styles himself Pretty Pimpin' Dino, is a self-described pimp from South Central Los Angeles whose public record consists of interviews. Mark Laita's Soft White Underbelly published "Pimp interview-Dino," a fourteen-minute portrait its catalogue describes as "an interview and portrait of Dino, a pimp in South Central Los Angeles," and a second, separately titled piece, "Figueroa Street/Pimp interview-Pretty Pimpin' Dino," which television databases list as a 2021 episode. The second video is no longer embeddable and is not included below. GUTS TV World Wide filmed him for "Pandemic Pimpin with Pretty Pimping Dino on Figueroa," and clips circulate on TikTok and Instagram.

The archive's owner describes him as "world famous for Figueroa Street." The reputation is real only in the sense that his name is attached to the corridor in these videos; it is a persona built on camera. What he says about his own history, about the women he says he manages, and about how the corridor works is his testimony and nothing else; no court record, newspaper report or other independent document naming him was found.
