King Script

A South Central Los Angeles pimp known only through a 2024 Soft White Underbelly portrait; nothing beyond his own account is on record.

King Script is a self-described pimp from South Central Los Angeles whose entire public record is one interview. Mark Laita's Soft White Underbelly, the Los Angeles channel that films most of its subjects in a Skid Row studio and pays them, published "Pimp interview-King Script," a 21-minute piece its catalogue describes as "an interview and portrait of King Script, a pimp in South Central Los Angeles." Television episode databases list it as a 2024 episode. No podcast appearance, music release, press report or court record naming him was found.

In the interview he presents himself in the trade's usual terms: pimping as a code and a business, himself as its practitioner, and the women he says work for him as people he directs. That is his account and the archive files it as such. No legal name, age or birthplace has been published by a reputable source, and nothing he says about his history, his earnings or the women can be checked against any independent document.
