A West Coast pimp whose 2020 Soft White Underbelly interview became one of the channel's most-watched and led to a No Jumper co-host seat.

Sharp is a self-described pimp who became one of the most widely viewed subjects of Mark Laita's Soft White Underbelly, the Los Angeles interview channel that films mostly in a Skid Row studio and pays its subjects. The channel's own catalogue describes the first video, "Pimp interview-Sharp," as "a west coast pimp who shares his story and his views on 'the game'," and the follow-up as "a follow up interview with Sharp, a Las Vegas pimp." Between those two descriptions and later uploads, Soft White Underbelly has published at least five Sharp videos: the original (16 minutes), the follow-up (36 minutes), "Sharp (April, 2021)," "Conversation With a Pimp-Sharp," and "Sharp Returns-Part One" (2025), which the channel introduced as a return by "a west coast pimp who has appeared on this channel four times before."

Everything substantive about Sharp's life comes from his own mouth on camera. In the interviews he presents himself as a working pimp rather than a retired one, describes the recruitment and management of women in the terms of the trade, and defends the life as a set of rules and a mentality. None of it is corroborated by any court record, newspaper report or other independent document that this archive could locate. No legal name, birthplace or date of birth has been published by a reputable source. The archive therefore files his account as testimony: informative about how the trade describes itself, not verified biography.

His visibility carried him into podcast media. In 2021 he appeared on Adam Grandmaison's No Jumper in an episode titled "The Sharp Interview: Soft White Underbelly, Pimping, Simps, Onlyfans & More," and he then became a recurring co-host of the show. That tenure is part of the documented record in an uncomfortable way. Rolling Stone's 2023 investigation into No Jumper reported that adult performer Aliza Jane said Grandmaison and Sharp berated her on air after she declined to take part in a sexual scene, quoting Sharp telling her, "You ugly on the inside, bitch." It is the one instance where a major outlet records Sharp's treatment of a specific woman, and it is consistent with the posture he adopts toward women in his own interviews. Sharp and Grandmaison split, then recorded a reunion episode in April 2023 billed as their first conversation "since the fallout."

Why the interview drew several million views is worth stating plainly. Soft White Underbelly's format—a fixed camera, a plain backdrop, a subject speaking uninterrupted about childhood and choices—gives a pimp the floor without challenge, and Sharp is fluent and unembarrassed. Viewers who came for shock stayed for the articulacy. The women he describes are not on camera. For an archive whose purpose includes the cost paid by those women, that absence is the most important feature of the Sharp videos: the record of the trade, as told here, is one-sided by design, and the archive presents it as such.
