Louis
A Mississippi-born pimp who told Soft White Underbelly in 2020 that he once had $500,000 and five women, and that crack is now "my pimp."
Louis is the subject of "Pimp interview-Louis," a Soft White Underbelly video released to streaming platforms on November 6, 2020. He says he was born in 1963 in Meridian, Mississippi, to parents who stayed together 57 years and kept him home from school to chase livestock. He says a 45-year-old prostitute took him into the game at seventeen, an uncle in Cleveland taught him "Pimping 101," and he worked for a time as a dancer.
His account of the women is one of the least softened on the channel. He says he had five in Mississippi, three Black, one Asian and Black, one white, and later "three girls on Western" in Los Angeles; that some stayed twenty years; that "I kept all of it" and bought whatever they needed; that he set a $200 minimum; that he required them to shower three times a day; and that he "would buy the drugs." On violence: "I would put hands on 'em and it's sad to say but at that time you had to keep 'em in line." On sex: "they was my bitches." He says he was arrested once and that penalties are far harsher now.
He says he once had $500,000, a two-storey house and five or six cars, and "lost all that." Now, he says, he is "stuck on" crack cocaine: "Drugs are my pimp." He says he still puts "a few girls" out but not "hard in the paint." He says he has about twelve children by five women and paid a daughter's way through graduate school.
