A 74-year-old Las Vegas pimp who told Soft White Underbelly he served federal time under the Mann Act and still has eight women.

Hop is the subject of "Pimp interview-Hop," a 21-minute Soft White Underbelly video catalogued by the channel as an "interview and portrait of Hop, a pimp from Las Vegas, Nevada." At a stated 74 he is among the oldest men in the series and one of the few who says he is still active.

He says he was born in Mississippi to a beautician and a construction worker who moved the family west in the early 1950s after Klan threats. He describes a spoiled childhood, a child fathered at sixteen, and leaving home; a woman then told him that if he gave her ninety days she would "put me in Cadillacs and knits." "She groomed me," he says. "I don't know any player who women didn't turn out." He says he worked the Broadway stroll in Los Angeles, "54th from Broadway to 59th," from the 1960s.

On the women now: "up to eight," working casinos, streets, hotels and online, earning what he puts at $1,500 to $2,500 a night, of which he takes "100% and I take care of the family," providing housing and clothes. He says women choose the man, that he has never hit one, and that when a woman defies him "I leave her alone." He says his first woman is now in a coma. He describes a 32-year-old wife and a gated home in northwest Las Vegas.

He says he served federal time from 2013 to 2018 for "bank fraud, pimping and pandering, white slavery, the Mann Act." No record confirming this was found.
